For School Shahd Al Baz Hannah Gemei Luma Mansi

Description :Our group made an example group page on Facebook to show how it can or would be used in school in an everyday class situation. This is a page example of how a English class would function on face book. So that the teacher can make sure that all the students did their homework Homework could be submitted as a photo

Facebook We think that Facebook would be very useful in a class room environment, for communicating with other students, finding out homework and tests, reminding each other of causes, upcoming events and watching videos and pictures/diagrams. We choose face book because over over 80% of the students in Qatar academy use Facebook on a daily basis and know how to use it unlike other websites which are much more complicated. We also understand that there is a specific age that a person needs to be which is 13 which is why it could be used starting from grade 8 and above. Also we have considered the fact that many parents don’t want their children to use it because they are worried about their safety which is why we want to bring up the fact that there are in fact lots of safety icons and precautions that could be taken. for example a person can make their account private from the privacy settings bar.

Facebook History It all got started back in 2003, as Face mash. Mark Zuckerberg created it, along with help of his friends and roommates Chris Hughes and Dustin Muscovite. Zuckerberg was in his sophomore year at Harvard when opened it up. At that time Mark Zuckerberg was a sophomore at Harvard University. The name for Facebook came from the publications that some colleges pass out to students at the beginning of the year to help students get to know each other better, called Facebook.

Create stage We used to create a free website that offers many options, such as being able to add members and editing the whole site and you can add photos pages and videos too. First go to webs.com and click get started. First step

Step Two Fill in the slots with the information needed like this example on the left hand side.

Materials and Products Used You will need basic materials, such as: Laptop/computer Internet Facebook Account

List of resources/websites used (We used Face book, to create an example page, of how facebook can be used in a real classroom.) (we used this website to make our website.) (we used this website to make our video, about how to create a webs.com account.) (We used this website, to find information about facebook, for example the history of facebook.)

The time used to create the product. Estimated Time, Actual Time When you make a face book account, it only takes 5 minutes to create it, and also to activate your account. Also on face book to create a group there it takes about 3-4 minutes to make it. To make a webs website, it takes about 5 minutes to create the website, and call it what you want, but to activate it and start changing some some stuff you want in your website, it will take about another 5 minutes to do so.

The plan identifies the knowledge and skills required to create the product. What computer skills will I need to create my product? The computer skills I need to create my product, which is webs.com, you really don’t need to have specific computer skills to do so, all you need is to know how to use a computer, and that is all, and while you are creating your website, it will tell you to do, and you just need to follow the steps.

The student discusses the effectiveness of the plan. I used the plan
