I Am The Way, The Truth, And The Life Jn. 14:1-6

“I Am The Way” At the time of this statement, they were living under a different law. Now, instead of going through the Old Law, we must go through Christ - Rom. 5:1-2; Eph. 2:18; Heb. 10:19-20

“I Am The Way” The only way that we could have that salvation is through Him. Christ is the way to solve our “problem of sin” - Heb. 9:11- 15; 1 Jn. 1:7; 3:4-9

“I Am The Truth” We know that Jesus is the truth - Jn. 1:14; Jn. 1:17 Today we can know His truth because of His word - Psa. 119:160; Eph. 1:13; Col. 1:5

“I Am The Truth” We can be sanctified, or set apart, by the truth (word) of God - Jn. 17:17-19; Jn. 8:31- 32; 1 Cor. 1:18-25 (esp. verse 25)

“I Am The Life” The purpose of Jesus coming into this world was to give us eternal life - Jn. 1:4; Jn. 5:24-29; Jn. 10:1; Jn. 11:25-26; Lk. 19:10
