KJCN:Korea-Japan Cable Network Optical Fiber Project between Busan and Fukuoka Joint project : Kyushu Electric Power Co, Japan Telecom, NTT Communications, KT KJCN( Korea-Japan Cable Network) –Starting in –12 fiber pairs with no relays –Starting from 50Gbps  2.88Terabit (current traffic volume between KR and JP : about 500Mbps) They need to accelerate demand  encourage research for High Speed Application using large bandwidth.

Hyunhae/Genkai Project(1) Kyushu Electric Power Co proposed Kyushu Univ Group to offer 1Gbps Ethernet for R&D. Kyushu Univ Group asked APAN-KR to join the project through APAN-JP. Offering 1Gbps link is now under negotiation between KEP and KT.

Hyunhae/Genkai Project(2) International joint research project for Networking and Application Technology Leading-edge research between KR and JP Organizing project participants in KR and JP.
