Introduction Purpose and Goals of the Club _______________________________________________________________________ ■ The BiCo Finance Club has been active for the past three years helping students learn about and start careers in finance. We: ─Give members the opportunity to meet with and learn from alumni currently working in finance ─Use the experience of members of the BiCo community (students, alumni, and faculty) to help members learn about investing ─Give members an inside look into the recruitment process Introduction 3

Introduction Semester Events _______________________________________________________________________ ■ Off-Campus Event: Visit to Credit Suisse ─Meet with Haverford alumni working in investment banking ■ On-Campus Events: ─1. Career Speaker Series Recently graduated alumni and students with experience working in finance speak to members about their jobs, internships, or careers ─2. Investment Workshops These workshops will teach how to read financial statements, value a company using Excel models, and think about risk ─3. Recruitment Workshops These workshops will cover recruitment strategies including how to polish your resume and how to handle interviews Introduction 4
