International Atomic Energy Agency 2 Key points from presentations, posters and panel discussions Independent nuclear oversight function/ safety assessment high importance for continuous improvement implemented for particular management levels and activities, e.g. NPPs, divisions, corporate/group levels implemented also during construction of new NPPs including supply chain (contractors/subcontractors) supported by comprehensive reporting/communication schemes External peer reviews OSART Corporate and WANO Corporate Peer Review added value for safety improvement of corporate safety awareness

International Atomic Energy Agency 3 Key points from presentations, posters and panel discussions Integrated Management System PDCA cycle systematic evaluation via quantitative tools knowledge management as an integral part risk based & graded approach Economical pressure commitment of corporate leaders to nuclear safety as a priority is crucial communication to stakeholders including owners about the importance of nuclear safety, safety culture & resources needed to ensure safe operation of NPPs

International Atomic Energy Agency 4 IAEA MS are encouraged to invite OSART Corporate missions to utilize its benefits IAEA Corporate and WANO Corporate Peer Reviews should be properly coordinated IAEA is encouraged to compile good international practices of independent nuclear oversight function and develop guidance document (TECDOC) At present, many utilities face to economical pressure; IAEA and WANO are encouraged to organize forum dedicated to open and systematic discussion of this issue Potential areas for further improvements
