Project Idea 1 History Rosina from «Il barbiere di Siviglia» of Gioachino Rossini. Gioachino Rossini was born in Pesaro – Marche Region in He was a famous Italian composer and wrote 39 operas. One of his best known operas include the Italian comedies Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville) and La Cenerentola and the French-language epics Moïse et Pharaon and Guillaume Tell.The Barber of SevilleLa Cenerentola Moïse et PharaonGuillaume Tell Until his retirement in 1829, Rossini had been the most popular opera composer in history.

Project Idea 1 Rosina Costume Rosina is a character of «Il barbiere di Siviglia» of Rossini. The costume is from the «Romanticism» period The feminine figure is charachterized by the development in horizontal of the shoulders and of the bottom of the dress in contrast with waistband. Furthermore the dress has very large sleeves inspired by costumes of the renaissance period.
