 Assist hospital staff to ensure they have information to provide effective care and treatment  Promote the rights of people with a learning disability  Support with planned hospital admissions  Support the patient, family/carers from admission to discharge  Advise hospital staff with regard to making reasonable adjustments Role of the Acute Liaison Nurse

 Work closely with the Equality and Diversity department to provide training to hospital staff  Advising on capacity and consent  Provide easy read material to support most hospital procedures  Health toolkit available
