EasyJet Kamau Clanagan Period 2

What marketing function? indicates the function performed through the expenditure of funds. to provide the perspective of the marketplace within.

How does market analysis help? It gives you an idea what’s happening in the market place, which helps you figure out what to do.

What is its market position? Its position as #1 airline in the UK is very strong and still growing stronger. They continue to save consumers both time and money by providing low fare and direct point-to-point services between major European airports.

Key Marketing Objectives To provide its customers with safe, good value, point-to-point air services. To effect and to offer a consistent and reliable product and fares appealing to leisure and business markets on a range of European routes. To achieve this they will develop their people and establish lasting relationships with their suppliers.

Do they meet their objectives? From a 15 year old point of view, I must say that EasyJet don’t meet their objectives, they go beyond them.

Company Structure The company has a relatively flat organisational structure. As a result, there a few hierarchical levels and symbols within the business. For instance the administration office has no individual offices or secretaries.

Market Share They have an airline share. They have 71 % of total sales.
