Continuity from 2004 to 2005 Development of existing networks/ improved participation Consolidation of 2004 Partnerships Establishment of new partnerships with regional focus. Financing recommendations made towards expanding the potential outputs of partnership activities. i.e. World Heritage Status for Londonderry, urban & civic renewal & long term planning. Sustainability of themes post Peace II Funding.

2005 plans Establishment of New Partnerships Targeting briefings on Key themes Embedding Models of Best Practise. –Culture regeneration & Civic Renewal –Multi-Agency Approaches & Mobilizing Resources for the Creative Industries –Current development of networks within the EU and neighbouring states –Role of Culture as a Vector for Inclusion & Development.

2005 Plans cont. Ongoing development of Baltic/ NI Partnership. Dissemination of information to date to NI Region. Furthering Relationships with EU Policy Makers. Development of Web Based Resources.

Continuity within 3 Year Plan. NICEC conference outputs lead to 2006 Conference Expansion and consolidation of networks throughout each activity line. Policy, issues and academic papers to emanate from workshops / conferences Sustainability / lessons learned interwoven with implementation of new partnership and project outputs. Strengthening the beneficial outputs and relationship between academic and political representatives. Developing the capacity of NI to function as an outward and forward looking region.
