THE REBIRTH OF A NATION

(Eze 37:21) And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: (Eze 37:22) And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

B. The Math of their return

BIBLEBIBLE  The 1 st thing we need to understand in order to figure the math of their return is to know the date of their removal.  We know that in 606 BC The king of Babylon came in and removed Israel from there home land just like God told them it would be.  This removal was to be for a period of 70 years…

(Jer 25:11) And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. (Jer 25:12) And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

BIBLEBIBLE  So what we know is at this point the nation of Israel has spent 70 years in captivity from 606 BC to 536 BC  Not only do we know the year put we know the day. (The 1 st day of the 1 st month or Nisan the 1 st )  But we must factor in all of the prophecy that God gave during the time of captivity.

This shall be a sign to the house of Israel. Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel three hundred and ninety days forty days day for a year (Eze 4:3-6) Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel. Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
