GAS VS. ELECTRIC CARS By John Powell

Gas powered cars Gas cars have been around along time. Now they are way more advanced since then. So they have cooler designs and parts. Gas powered cars can travel at different speeds depending on how fast you want to go and when you want to get there. Gas cars can be expensive or very cheap. Millions of people use gas powered cars today. Lots rely on them to get to work. But gas cars have disadvantages too, they pollute the air a lot, and cost a lot to fill up the tank on gasoline.

Camaro This is the Chevy Camaro. This car is gas powered. The Chevy Camaro is a sports car. I think it is the coolest sports car ever.

Electric powered cars Electric cars aren’t very common yet but they are getting more and more common every day. Now you can just plug them in every night to charge. So your electric bill will be a little higher but not that much more. They are very energy efficient, so they don’t harm the environment. But electricity will not always be around. Electricity has coal in it and coal is a fossil fuel so it will soon be gone if we don’t do something. But those aren’t a big problem at the moment so go out and buy yourself a nice electric car right now.

Ford Focus The Ford Focus is an electric car. The Ford Focus is one of Ford’s best sellers.

Chevy Volt The Chevy Volt is an electric car.

Chevy Volt The Chevy Volt is an electric car. It is also a gas powered car. When the car is coming out of the driveway it uses electricity. But when it is on the high way it uses gasoline. So you hardly ever go to the gas station or fill it up on electricity. The Chevy Volt is one of their best selling cars. Also the Chevy Volt has great MPG, it can go 38 miles per gallon.

ANSWER Electric cars win! Considering that gas powered cars pollute, cost a lot to fill up on gas. The clear answer is electric cars. They don’t pollute, it doesn’t cost a lot to fill up on electricity. Still some electric cars have some gasoline in them, like the Chevy Volt.
