 Definition: the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims  Reflection: Our definition on Terrorism is putting a group of people in danger based on your own beliefs.

 Location: LTTE Sri Lanka  Size: 5,000 to 10,000 guerillas  Goals:  Weapons used:  suicide vest ( invented)  website: eelam.com  Goals:  Tamil struggle for self-determination  seeking a fair and reasonable polit­ical solution, without relinquishing the inalienable rights of the Tamil people. supply military equipment to the Sri Lankan terrorist organization

World Response:  The prime ministers of Canada, Mauritius and India have withdrawn from the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting  Countries are upset that the government is based on amplification and lies. They say that they exaggerate too much "There's a huge disjuncture between what is said abroad in terms of criticism and lack of rights and the freedom and the justice and equality

 Countries where conflicts have ended, there is a persistent risk that the very same ideologies that seeded and drove the conflict will return with an vengeance.  Strategy is to win hearts and minds of the combatants and build bridges of friendship between the affected communities.
