 We are going to do a dress down day and a T- shirt fundraiser.  The dress down day will be held Friday October 26,  The T-shirt selling will start Monday October 22, 2012 and end Monday November 5, 2012.

 People think a dress down day will be bad because the kids might abuse the privilege.  People might think selling T-shirts is bad because the kids might abuse the people running it, pressuring for a discount or free shirt.

 We can counter the children abusing the dress down day by strictly enforcing the dress code for dress down days. If anyone isn’t in the right clothes then they will be sent home.  We could keep kids from pressuring into free or half priced shirts by having security guard present at all times.

 We chose to have a dress down day because every kid likes to be free from a strict dress code all year so we can expect a lot of kids to participate.  We chose to have a T-shirt sale because we can almost double our money on most of the shirts sold, also students will like the cheap price and the ability to chose their own design.

 For example, since you don’t spend money on it and most kids don’t like a strict dress code all of the money gained will be profit. Multiple schools have also used this in the past, so they must have did it for a reason.  If someone likes a shirt at a good price then they will buy it. Then they might suggest it to other friends. Plus the comfort and the fact you can wear them to school will spark more interest.

 On October 26,2012 (Friday) there will be a dress down day to raise money for the Crusade.  The cost of this dress down will be $2.  Students will receive a wristband to wear after purchasing it.  Students can purchase the band right after attendance during their first period.

 We could sell custom t-shirts for a few weeks.  Regular design shirts(design has been chosen) $10 (2xl – up $12)  Custom design shirts(design submitted by customer to be delivered within a week or two) $15 (2xl – up $17)  Blank T-shirts(no design) $5 (2xl – up $7)

 We will also offer a line of shirts that will be dress code color so they can wear them to and from school.  The prices will be the same as the other T- shirts.

 is a source for custom designed T-shirts for $6  is a source for blank T-shirts for $1.59
