ScubaJam is designed to provide a great scuba diving experience for boys and girls, ages This weekend long event is based around fun diving activities in buddy pairs with land based demonstrations, camping and other social activities for young, certified divers to share with their friends. Event was created by divers representing dive shops, various youth groups, BSA Troops and Venturing Crews in and around Virginia. This event is open to all youth groups and single youth divers who wish to attend. Single youth divers will be assigned to a group allowing them to meet new people and experience new and great diving! ScubaJam Virginia

Scuba Training Involves Academic Training Pool Skill Building – 6-8hours; 2-5 sessions Open Water Dives – 4 dives over 2 days
Academic Training Classroom Based Learning Electronic Based Learning OR Ask your dive shop what is best and they will get you in the water!
Pool Skill Building Designed to introduce skills and allow time to practice in a controlled environment under the direct supervision of a dive professional; allowing for mastery of the skills prior to Open Water.
4 dives completed over 2 days / 1 weekend Can be done locally – Haymarket / Millbrook – Lake Phoenix Can be done anywhere like – Florida – Bahamas Open Water Dives
