Sample Version Dear Xiaodong, I’m sorry you are having trouble in making friends. However, the situation is easy to change if you take my advice. Here are some tips to help you : First of all, I think you should try your best to start talking to people about what you like. You’d better find the chance to join in people’s discussion in order to communicate with each other. If you do this, you will get to know different people and let them see you are friendly.

Secondly, if you want to develop a friendship with others, you should have self-confidence. That way, others would like to be your friends. Thirdly, being a good listener is also very important. When listening to your friend speaking carefully, it is clear that you show interest in what he or she is saying.
