Save The Tomatoes!!!!

Project Goal: Use the materials provided to create a shelter to protect the tomatoes from being smashed

Materials Provided 4 cherry tomatoes 4 strips of masking tape 4 straws 1 grocery paper sack 1 square base Scissors (just for cutting)

Rules You may only use the materials provided Tomatoes and materials must sit on top of square base You have to be ready to test the shelter by tomorrow Shelter must sit on the square of the smasher when tested

Project Winners 10 points for every tomato that survives = 40 points possible 5 points for every inch the hammer stops above the base Prizes for 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd Places Class grade = based on full participation
