Three Work Groups National Parcel Data Work Group Federal Parcel Data Work Group – Federal Rights and Interests – Surface Management Agency Public Land Survey System Data Work Group – PLSS Rectangular and Non-Rectangular – Base Map for Boundaries

Parcel Data Work Group Migrated parcel inventory to GIS Inventory (Ramona) Working with NSGIC to identify Cadastral Contacts in each state and to complete parcel inventory in each state in Ramona Finalized Essential Cadastral Metadata Profile and tools to support it. Supported response to the Oil Spill in the Gulf.

Support to Wildland Fire Completed crosswalks and data standardization in 43 California Counties.

Wildland Fire Completed crosswalks and data standardization in 20 New Mexico Counties.

Update on Mortgage Task Completed Requirements Analysis and Documentation Presentations – Nationally and Internationally Specific Changes. Example: Federal Reserve Board is in the process of making changes requested by the study (e.g., adding parcel id to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Data Base). Provided standardized parcel data for Nevada to Federal Reserve Board (data assembled to support wildland fire)

Federal Parcel Data Work Group Formed a workgroup – chaired by Doug Vandergraft, US Fish and Wildlife Service Have met three times by conference call Working on parcel data with Federal rights and interests Will re-convene in June Coordinating with Marine Cadastral

Public Land Survey System Data Work Group Identified participants Working on standardizing 12 western states in the BLM and have validated and tested publication guidelines (e.g., physical template) June - Draft Standard Data Sets in 12 states Foundational layer for mapping boundaries Collaborating with USGS and states on possible funding for PLSS in eastern states First call planned for May or June
