Section I. MSP Project Information Subsection A. Project A new question has been added asking for the APR Performance Period

In Section I. MSP Project Information, Question number 3, - Type of Lead Organizations reduced the options to LEA, IHE, and Other

In Section I. MSP Project Information Subsection C., Partner Organizations Partner’s Role – added a check box to note the specific roles the partner has engaged in.

No Changes to II. MSP Project Abstract However, project directors must cut and paste information into the narrative box. Copy and paste abstract here

Section III. Responsibilities Subsection A. Administer Overall Program Reduced the options to LEA, IHE, and Other

Section IV. Professional Development Participants Moved questions beginning with the “Number of Higher Ed Faculty” to Section IV., Professional Development Participants Technology Faculty are now combined with Other Faculty

Section IV. Professional Development Participants Subsection B. Indicate the Primary Goals and Target for the Intervention New Question Added Projects whose goal is to increase teacher content knowledge must submit information on teacher gains for all teachers that participated in professional development and student achievement data for students of teachers participating in the MSP program Projects whose goals it to train teacher leaders must submit information on teacher gains for all teachers that directly participated in professional development and school-level student achievement data.

Section IV continued Subsection B., Indicate the Primary Goal and Target for the Intervention Primary Target of Projects – Reduced the options to Individual Teachers and Schools

Section IV continued Subsection B(i) and B(iii) Teacher/School Selection Criteria Reduced the options to focus only on whether or not the selection is based on the need of teachers and /or schools.

Section IV Continued Subsection C. Total Number of Participating Teachers Added a new question on Overall Total Number of Participating Teachers.

Section V Subsection B(i) Deleted the individual questions on duration and frequency, and added total duration for each major type of activity (i.e. summer institute, follow- up activities, other activities)

Section V. Subsection B(ii) and B(iii) Combined some of the categories. Changed from “select all that apply” to “select the one option that most accurately describes the activities” Section VI. No changes

Section VII. Program Evaluation Deleted initial question of Description of Evaluation Design Depending on the evaluation type, projects are asked to describe their evaluation design under the appropriate question Type of Evaluator – Changed from “select the option that best describes your evaluator” to “select all that apply”

Section VII. Program Evaluation Subsection B. Evaluation Design Changed the options available for this question

Section VII Subsection C. Phase of Implementation Moved from prior section on assessments for the question to flow more logically.

Section VII. Subsection D. Assessment Measures 1. Projects enter the type of assessment (i.e. teacher content knowledge – math, teacher content knowledge – science, etc.) 2. The projects will only see the assessments relevant to that category. 3. Some of the available options for measures have changed

Section VII Subsection D. continued Added question on whether specified assessment was used to report the Section VIII on Teacher Gains for GPRA reporting 3. Under Assessment Measures, deleted questions on numeric scales used.

Section VIII. Government Performance & Results Act Reporting Added question on: Total Number of Teachers Receiving PD in Math or Science
