Genesis 25

But there’s a problem… “But Mother!” Jacob replied. “He won’t be fooled that easily. Think how hairy Esau is and how smooth my skin is!

Even MORE suspicious… “Come here and kiss me, my son.” So Jacob went over and kissed him. And when Isaac caught the smell of his clothes, he was finally convinced, and he blessed his son.

ESAU FINDS OUT! Isaac said, “Your brother was here, and he tricked me. He has carried away your blessing.” Esau pleaded, “Not one blessing left for me? O my father, bless me, too!” Then Esau broke down and wept.

Hebrews 12:16 Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who traded his birthright as the firstborn son for a single meal. v17 You know that afterward, when he wanted his father’s blessing, he was rejected. It was too late for repentance, even though he begged with bitter tears.
