Class of 2018 We are ready!

Spring Semester Expectations 1. Complete each class with 70 or above to earn credit. 2. With 7 classes student receive 3.5 credits for the fall semester and 3.5 credits for the spring semester. 3. The g.p.a (grade point average) is calculated at the completion of the semester and a class rank is generated. 4. Promotion is based on credits and passing the EOC.

CREDITS To graduate, you must obtain all credits and pass the state End of Course (EOC) exams. You must earn: 6 Credits to be a Sophomore 12 Credits to be a Junior 18 Credits to be a Senior 26 Credits to graduate with an endorsement 22 Credits to graduate with Foundation HS Plan Find more info at chisd.net/HB5

END OF COURSE EXAMS (EOC) must pass with satisfactory ENGLISH I (9 th grade) ALGEBRA I (9 th grade) BIOLOGY (9 th grade) ENGLISH II (10 th Grade) U.S. HISTORY (11 th Grade) Find more info at chisd.net/HB5

SEMESTER GRADE MP1 + MP2 + MP3 + final exam = semester grade MUST CALCULATE TO A 70 OR ABOVE TO RECEIVE CREDIT. Must monitor Skyward Home Access

Tutorials Transportation support will be provided on Monday and Wednesdays for students that normally ride the school bus. Students that are in jeopardy of failing a course will be required to attend tutorials. Students that score below 60% on exams, in the same core area will be required to attend tutorials. If a student is required to attend tutorials, they will need to get a bus pass from the tutoring teacher.

Spring Course Selection The course selection for the will be presented soon. The classes that the student can select reflects the ENDORSEMENT plan he/she has selected.
