What is Energy? Forms of Energy
What is Energy  Energy is the ability to cause change. Change in ANYTHING  There are two general types of energy Kinetic energy Potential energy.

Energy Kinetic Energy Potential Energy.
Energy is said to be the ability to do work. That means the ability to make something happen. By “happen” it means to make things move or change condition.
Kinetic and Potential Energy have many forms. 1. Mechanical Energy - Energy associated with motion or position.
ENERGY Two main types -- kinetic and potential. KINETIC ENERGY Energy of motion Increases as mass increases Increases as speed increases.
ENERGY Ability to do work or cause change. Potential Stored energy. Has the ability to move. It might move, it might not move.

TYPES OF ENERGY by:Mckezie Mccool

ENERGY Energy is the ability to do work

POTENETIAL ENERGY Potential doesn’t move The higher the object the more potential

KINETIC ENERGY Kinetic energy of an object is the energy that possesses due to its motion

CHEMICAL ENERGY Chemical Energy is energy stored in the bonds of chemical compounds

MECHANICAL ENERGY mechanical energy is the sum of potential energy and kinetic energy

LIGHT ENERGY Light energy is the only form of energy that we can actually see directly.

THERMAL ENERGY energy that comes from heat. This heat is generated by the movement

SOUND ENERGY is a form of energy that is associated with vibrations of matter. It is a type of mechanical wave which means it requires an object to travel through.

NUCLEAR ENERGY Nuclear energy is the energy in the nucleus, or core, of an atom
