I am Hades, the god of the underworld and wealth

My powers and symbols I’m Hades and I’m the god of the underworld, death, wealth and funerals. My symbols are Cerberus, Helm of Darkness, Helmet of invisibility, Cypress, Narcissus and Key of Hades. I got my helm of darkness from the Cyclops that gave Zeus his thunderbolt and Poseidon his trident.

My Wife I am married to the daughter of my sister Demeter. Her name is Persephone. she only comes down to my underworld one half of the year. I kidnapped her when she was picking flowers.

Funerals I am the god of funerals. I own all of Hades Funeral homes around the world. If someone died in your family and all other funeral homes are very expensive come down to Hades funeral home.

My myths and festivals I only have 2 myths and the are Demeter and Persephone and the creation myth. I feel bad because no one worships me. I have no festivals. The reason is that were I live and what i have the power to do.

Family My parents are Cronos and Rhea. My brothers and sisters are: Zeus,Hera,Posiedon,Hestia,Demeter. Me, Zeus, and Poseidon all defeated our father to rule the universe. I am married to my niece Persephone.

If I helped any heroes I helped the hero Perseus. I gave him my helm of darkness which turned him invisible when he went to slay the gorgon Medusa. In an other story I gave it to Athena to help Diomedes in the Trojan war against Ares.
