Liquid Water?

What about water? Necessary for life as we know it. It also does the jobs of rock weathering (breaking down/decomposition) and erosion (transports weathered grains/pebbles/boulders a distance from weathering site. How to look for it without having to do surface chemistry? That’s what this lab is all about.
