Israeli-Palestinian Conflict and Solution By: Emily Sprainis 1 st period

Palestinian Arguments  Israel is illegally occupying their land.  Israel continuously builds settlements and pushes out the Palestinians even though they have a claim to the land.  Israel is using terrorism to try and push out the Palestinians  The Israelis are tearing down the Palestinian homes and making security checkpoints to go anywhere  The Palestinians have had the land longer than the Israelis.

Israeli arguments  Jews should control all of Israel because it is rightfully theirs.  The land has been theirs since biblical times.  The Palestinians are using terrorism to try and keep out the Israeli.  The Israelis must defend themselves from the Palestinians, because of their terrorism.  The Palestinians are using a political system called the Hamas, which support terrorism.

Palestinian Solution  If the Palestinians stop using the Hamas, they might be able to create peace between them and the Israelis. If both sides compromised to use peace instead of terrorism they might be able to work it out.

Israeli Solution  Avoiding war would be the best solution between the Palestinians and the Israelis because over the last half of the century, many events have taken place that have killed many people from both sides. If the Israelis stopped their terrorist attacks, then it might be able to create peace.

Compromise  If the Palestinians stopped using the Hamas because they support terrorism.
