Change vs Transition Are change and transition fundamentally different, or are they just two different words used to describe the same thing?

An event that is situational and is external to us. It gets announced…you read about it in a memo…you can see it on a calendar. Change SOMETHING OLD STOPSSOMETHING NEW BEGINS Change

Transition Change SOMETHING OLD STOPSSOMETHING NEW BEGINS The gradual, psychological reorientation process that happens inside as we learn to adapt to the external change event.

The Change Getting comfortable being part of a couple, making shared decisions, etc. Getting comfortable taking care of a new little one, loss of independence, etc. Getting comfortable with a new city, town, neighbors, schools, etc. The Transition
