Waves and Wind Section Review

What is the source of the energy in ocean waves? EEEEnergy is transferred to ocean waves from wind.

How does an ocean wave change when it reaches shallow water?  An ocean wave begins to drag at the bottom as it enters shallow water. The waves slows, and the water moves forward with the wave.

What are the two waves in which waves erode rock? IIIImpact AAAAbrasion

What are two kinds of wind erosion? DDDDeflation AAAAbrasion

What causes wind to deposit sand or other sediment?  Sediment is deposited when wind slows down or blows around an obstacle.
