2 PROFILE Established in September 2000 in Cyprus. Focused on exploiting the opportunities and addressing the challenges that arise as a result of Cyprus accession to the EU.

4 National Contact Point 1999: Appointed as the host organisation of the National Contact Point for Innovation and SMEs for the 5 th Framework Programme (5FP). 2002: Appointed again as the National Contact Point for the SMEs for the 6 th Framework Programme (6FP). Also: Scientific Coordinator of the Regional Innovation Strategy (RIS) project for Cyprus.
