3 About the Thessalonian letters: OCCASION  There 3 Sabbaths, maybe longer…  Story in Acts 17  Anxious for those left behind – trials.  Timothy & Silas remain there to teach.  Not doctrinal  Not controversial  Gentle, affectionate  Letter of consolation in face of opposition Be faithful and watch yourselves…do right.
