Sequences & Series

Sequence: A function whose domain is a set of consecutive integers. The domain gives the relative position of each term of the sequence: 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, and so on. The range gives the terms of the sequence. Finite Sequence: A sequence that has a last term. Infinite Sequence: A sequence that continues without stopping.

1. Multiples of 5 2. Increases by 5 3. Double previous term 4. Perfect cubes 5. Perfect cubes +1

Recursive Formula: A formula that allows any term of a sequence, except the first, to be computed from the previous term.
