Religion – The belief that a supernatural power or powers created and maintains the universe

3 Types of Religions: Monotheistic – belief in one god examples: Christianity, Judaism, Islam Polytheistic – belief in many gods Examples: Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism Animistic – belief in divine forces in nature Examples: Shintoism, Traditional Native American and African religions
