Examine and discuss processes, strategies and tools that will better enable Creating Synergy to engage in health policy advocacy strategies that will improve access to care. Advocacy strategy process Action plan development Overview & Purpose

Policy development is the most effective way to affect system change. Policy adoption/change requires that we demonstrate a: 1. Need for the policy i.e. potential impact on overall public health 2. Support for the policy i.e. stakeholder collaboration and community engagement, polls etc… Change does not happen without sufficient public pressure and stakeholder and community support.
