11 Cost issues The cost of accidents at work incurred by the AAA rose to million EUR in This figure did not cover the total cost of expenditure relating to accidents. 12 Conclusion of statistical analysis The relative rate of accidents at work is on the decline. The relative rate of the actual accidents on the journey to and from work has been gradually increasing over the years The rate of frequency of road accidents has been substantially decreased and may be reduced further.
