Current Situation We have the problem of “Equal Development”, too. Provincial Capitals have the greatest share of all the services and facilities. Provision of health services beyond the basics to the urban and rural areas is a tough challenge. Advanced Techniques and facilities not available.

Current Situation-cont. Almost all subspecialty services not available. No long term or intermediate planning due to the unstable political, economic and social situation. No predictable and transparent budget from the federal government.

Constrains Political and administrative instability hinders proper long term planning. Lack of well trained manpower in all aspects is another obstacles. Poor infrastructure both in health and other sectors reduces the efficiency of the system.

Vision for the Future Trainings and capacity building for the manpower who takes the responsibility. Working to reverse the problem of “inequity”. Developing new specialties and acquiring new knowledge to provide more specialized services that are not present in the region. Focusing more on Continuing Professional Education. Working more closely with the information technology to enhance the public awareness.

Vision for the Future Due to the hard political situation and the torture caused by the occupying regimes, many people suffers from psychosocial problems. Providing support concentrated in the local communities they live in is an important task for now and the future. Construction of new hospitals in urban areas with dense population is an undertaking.
