1 Welcome And Namaste

2 “His Majesty's Government of Nepal has embraced the sprit of the Millennium Declaration and is committed to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to advance human development that provides equal opportunities and ensures a bright future for all its citizens. Nepal has made significant progress over the last 15 years in reducing poverty, improving access to education, health services and drinking water, and promoting biodiversity conservation and alternative energy. It is a remarkable achievement considering the difficult situation in the country in recent years. However, some serious challenges remain in addressing inequality and exclusion, which is a critical factor hindering the equitable distribution of the result of development efforts across all geographical regions and social groups.” Matthew Kahnne Matthew Kahnne
