Sugar Skulls Sugar skulls represent a departed soul. Name of deceased is written on forehead. Decorated with icing, tin foil, and glitter.

Skeletons They symbolize mortality and the cycle of life and death. They are fun and joyful, not sad or scary. They are colorful, well dressed, and typically long and skinny.
