Mrs. Bird, Mr. Bird and Baby Bird. Outside in the spring when Mrs. & Mr. Bird were searching for a new nest.

Once there lived two birds, Mrs. Bird & Mr. Bird. Mrs. Bird hated their old nest. Mr. Bird thought it was the best. They went in search, And ended up in a church. They built their new nest, Thinking that it would be the best. Mr. Bird sang his happy song, Not noticing Mr. Parker coming along They learnt the new nest is the worst, When the church bell burst. Mrs. Bird flew back to the old nest, Knowing that old nest is the best. Mr. Bird felt happy to be home. He sang this song for the baby and mom, “I love our house I love our nest. In all the world Our nest is best.”

My Recommendation I enjoyed reading “The Best Nest”, because I found the illustrations interesting. I never knew that so many things like straws, hay, man hair, horse hair, mattress stuffing, sweater string and stocking string go into making a bird’s nest. I am sure, my friends would also find it interesting to read this book.
