“A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES STARTS WITH A SINGLE STEP” ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE GETTING STARTED DUE TO STINKING THINKING/FEAR, ETC.

A Chinese philosopher as been given credit for this quote but it is worthy of paying attention to in all cultures and in life.

Think about it ????  There are many instances when you made that first step that you debated on making.  And of course you can remember many first steps made throughout our history.  Did you make the right step???

What is making you give up ??????? The first man-made object to be launched into space was the Soviet unmanned satellite named Sputnik I. This began the "Space Race" between the United States and the Soviet Union. The Soviets won almost every aspect (1st object, 1st man in space, 1st woman in space, etc.), except for the United States' 1st man on the moon.

First modern champion On 6 April 1896, the American James Connolly won the triple jump to become the first Olympic champion in more than 1,500 years. He also finished second in the high jump and third in the long jump. Games reborn The first celebration of the modern Olympic Games took place in its ancient birthplace of Athens. The Games attracted athletes from 14 nations, with the largest delegations coming from Greece, Germany, France and Great Britain.
