Archaeology Team 2 The Labyrinth: The myth of Theseus and the Minotaur

What you need to do Much of what you are discovering at Knossos reminds you of the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. Although this story is believed to just be a myth, there is usually some truth behind it. You believe that this palace is the same as that of the myth enough you name this culture Minoan after King Minos. First you need to research the myth of King Minos, Theseus, and the Minotaur. Outline 8-10 of the most important parts of the story. Put together a Keynote Presentation to retell the class the story. Each slide can be one of your outline points. Use some text, but also try to find some pictures. Every member of the group should participate in the presentation. Examine the plans of the palace of Knossos. What specifically about the plans may have led you to make the connection to King Minos and the labyrinth? Write down your conclusions on the back of your outline.
