A food guide pyramid is a triangular nutrition guide divided into sections to show the recommended intake for each food group.

HOW TO CREATE… a food pyramid poster 1.Draw an equilateral triangle on your paper. This is a triangle where all three lines are equal. Use a ruler to keep the lines straight. The point will be at the top. 2.Separate the triangle into three parts: carbohydrates, proteins and fat. You will want to continue using your ruler to keep the lines as straight as possible.

3.Cut some pictures of various type of food. 4.Stick the pictures to the appropriate sections of the food pyramid
