The original purpose of Hernando Cortes’ journey was to conquer the Aztec Empire. Cortes went to southern part of Mexico and conquered the Aztec Empire. After Cortes conquered the Aztec Empire he returned to Spain with his riches. In summary Hernando Cortes conquered the Aztec Empire. Insert pictures of what he found on your page, too.
