Women using drugs 10% in some Asian societies 20% in former Soviet Union and Latin America 40% in North America and some European countries convergence is rates of use among young men and women increasing rates of use among women in some European countries women are more likely to use pharmaceutical drugs (highest rates in North America and Europe and among older women)
