In our world there are many famous people. The fame is achieved by real talent. Many aspire to be famous, but not all succeed. This problem, in my opinion, is relevant in our time. The purpose of my work - to explore and understand how a man can achieve his goal, to get international fame through his talent and skill and can manage to direct it in the right direction.

I want to tell you about one Russian sculptor, the artist, the jeweler, who received global popularity. His name - Dashi Namdakov. This person has become successful with the help of his unick talent.

Some facts about life of Dashi… Dashi Namdakov (Dashinim Balzhanovich Namdakov) was born in 1967, in the village Ukurik, Chita region in a large family of the national master.

Case in life In 15 years, Dashi became very ill, he was on the verge of death. For 7 years doctors could not cure him, even shaman tried to help him. Shaman explained the reason of his disease. Не said that people had forgotten their roots, had ceased to remember their ancestors, their names. Shaman made a ritual.Unbelievably, but the pain has receded almost at once. In 7 days Dashi was in another city and looking for a work. That shaman foretold his success. He understood that Dashi had the ability to see the beauty of the surrounding things, and embody it in their works.

Dashi began working in the studio of Buryat sculptor G. Vasilyev in Ulan-Ude, where enlarge his skills to work with different materials. Then in 1988 he entered the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Arts. His instructors were well-known artists: L.N. Golovnitsky, P. Ishkhanov, A.H. Boyarlin and E.I. Pakhomov.

After graduation in 1992, Dashi returned to Ulan-Ude, where he continued to work first solo exhibition in Irkutsk. The exhibition created a furor in the art establishment. After that were successful exhibitions in other cities of Russia, successful shows abroad.

Features works of Namdakov The art of Dashi Namdakov unites features of local and national traditions of European classical art education. In the work of the sculptor, each piece reveals the content of the ancient character through epicimages of animals, forms of sacred attributes, plastic movements of fantastic creatures.

The artist creates new characters. Dashi manages to create a special world, which combines ancient spiritual traditions and reality; fantastic, unusual and at the same time strongly significant image («Horse Mode», «Zhaan», «The Raven», «Element», «Buch- Nayon» and others).

Dashi’s sculpture came from distant worlds. From there, where there are no boundaries between a man and the universe, everything - the particles of the universe, occupying a niche prepared for each in an endless stream of universal conversion. That's how the world perceives the east - finding beauty in its integrity and the fragile harmony for fear of embarrassing the movement to destroy the established order of the Almighty.

Today Namdakov’s works are stored in the State Hermitage, Russian Museum of Ethnography in St. Petersburg, the Museum of Oriental Art, in museums of many countries. Achievements Dashi organised more than 14 personal exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including well-known museums and galleries in the world. He was awarded the silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. Since 2004 he lives and works in Moscow.

Dashi is the winner of the National Film Award «Nika» in the nomination «Best Artist» for the film «Mongol» (2007)

While working, I examined in detail Namdakov’s biography, especially his works. He has achieved great success in his life, thanks to his talent, unusual way of thinking and imagination. I think we should be proud of our zemlyak Dashi Balzhanovich Namdakov. I was greatly impressed by his inhuman desire to live, to be healthy and helpful people.
