SUMMARY On Thursday, Greg became the school’s new cartoonist. At lunch time, Greg wanted to take a copy to see his name in print, but he decided to play cool. He sat at the end of the table so there will be enough room for his fans, but no one came. Greg felt something was wrong. He took a copy and want into the bathroom. He almost had a heart attack when he saw his comic. Mr. Ira told him that he made some minor edits, but he ruined Greg’s favorite comic. You can’t recognize it as the same strip.

On Wednesday, Mr. Winsky announced Rowley to come to his office. He was mad about Rowley because Mrs. Irvine witnessed Rowley terrorize the kindergartners when he walked them home. But the boy who terrorize the kindergartners was Greg! And he totally forgot that. Mr. Winsky told Rowley to apologize to the kindergartners. At dinner, Greg’s mother could tell something is bothering him and Greg explains most of the effect to her. She said he should do the right thing. Greg decided to let Rowley take it this time.

On the way to school on Thursday, Greg told Rowley the truth and there were lessons they could learn from this case. Greg message didn’t seem to go through Rowley. They were supposed to hang out after school, but Rowley said he is going to take a nap. When he got home, Greg’s mother took him out to get some ice cream because Greg said he did the right thing.
