What Is Malaria Malaria is an infectious disease that is transmitted through mosquito bites. Malaria is caused by parasites in blood, namely plasmodium.(World Health Organization (WHO)(Malaria))

What Is Malaria (Cont) There are two main kinds of malaria, Plasmodium falciparum (Sever and Can be Fatal) and Plasmodium vivax(Mild But continuous). (WHO (Malaria))

Infected Malaria cannot be spread between humans. It is caught from the bites of female mosquitoes. The mosquito gets malaria from biting an infected person. The larva then feed on the blood taken from the infected person. The mosquitoes then grow up carrying malaria, and the females will pass it to the human that they draw blood from. (yeyejessi Yahoo! Treatment If it is Plasmodium falciparum it should be treated ASAP In common areas WHO recommends that treatment should start within 24hrs after first symptoms
