 Once upon a time, there lived a happy grasshopper named James. James lived under an old bridge. Every morning, he would always climb up his ladder to the top of the bridge and play his banjo. When the other insects heard the music, they would gather around grasshopper to hear James’s beautiful music.

Sometimes they would bring along their instruments and sing along. But there was one insect that did not join in the fun, the ant. It did not want to join in because he had many work to do. The grasshopper would always laugh at him saying “HaHaHa,come on and join in the fun!” But the ant would always reply “ No, not now, I need to collect food for the winter.”

 When winter arrived, James had no food to eat, he needed to sell his banjo to have money to buy food. The poor grasshopper saw that the ant was having a good time celebrating and eating all kinds of food. He wished that he was collecting food during the summer and not playing his banjo. Suddenly, he felt a little tap on his shoulder. He turned around and saw the ant. The ant asked “Do you want come in to my house to stay?” The grasshopper said “ Alright, I will teach you how to play the banjo!”

 The grasshopper and the ant enjoyed all the singing, dancing and eating all the delicious food. The grasshopper thanked the ant for letting him stay. From now onwards, James will not play during the summer but collect delicious food.
