Touching and hugging feels nice and lots of people like to be hugged. Hugs and touches always need to be soft and gentle.

As you get older hugs, touches and kisses become more special and you save them for special people. These are my special people and it’s ok to touch, hug and kiss them. PHOTO OF child’s FAMILY

If I want to say hello, a good way is to shake hands. PHOTO

But if I am cuddling my special people, I must be soft and gentle. Nobody likes strong hugs – they hurt and they can be dangerous. I don’t like this. I might fall. STOP IT!
