The Legislative Branch The Legislative Branch is made up of Congress They’re two parts of Congress the Senate and the House of Representatives The Congress has many jobs There are two leaders of Congress
The Judicial branch The Judicial Branch makes sure that the laws are fair and constitutional The Judicial system includes the Supreme Court and the Justices The Supreme Court handles crimes that lower courts can’t handle William Taft was the only person to serve as a president and a chief of Justice
The Executive branch The president leads the army, navy, and marine corps The president lives in the White House The president can find people not guilty of their crimes The president can make treaties with other countries if the senate agrees
The Executive branch The president decides who will be the leaders of the cabinet The president works and lives in the White House The president must be at least 35 years old The president must be a natural born citizen Duties of the president include: developing federal policies The president must have lived in the United States for at least 14 years
