Presentation transcript:

:30 meetingEBH 1  4:14 lost cryo conditions in Sector 34/45 due to communication problem  6:30 Faulty IT network switch identified  access needed  BIW siren problem being investigated in parallel  9:30 access for cryo network switch replacement  11:30 a second network switch needs replacement  access  12:30 Cryo communication problem in point 4 fixed  13:17 Trip of the cold compressor in point 4 (related to previous exchange of network switches)  16:38 problem with BIW (Beam Imminent Warning) sirens has been solved. There was a broken fuse on a 48V power supply for the access interface card in Point 5.  Afternoon / Evening: Ongoing problems reconnecting the cryo in point 4  6:00 cryo back – start pre-cycle. Fault duration 25h45’ Wednesday

:30 meetingEBH 2  p,p beams:  Loss maps at flat-top and LSS7 collimator alignment checks – go through the squeeze in single step, on momentum (4-5 hours)  IR2 aperture measurement (4 hours)  Switch to p,Pb:  Ramp, cogging, frequency lock (13 bunches) + TCT alignment and loss maps end of squeeze and collision. Try to find collisions. Roman pot alignment (TOTEM and ALFA vertical) (>1 shift).  If problems to find collision inject p,p nominal bunches and find collisions (4-6 hours). Set-up TCT and RP with p,Pb.  To be scheduled:  Loss maps and asynchronous dump tests at top energy and at injection (2 shifts)  Possibly: Injection of trains of 24 bunches (protons and ions) (2 hours)  Possibly: beta-beating through off momentum squeeze (4 hours) Planning
