This is the brochure for KKK camp. All the information you need to join and understand the KKK idealisms are in here. This is a white supremacy organization founded in 1865 Pulaski, Tennessee who advocate extremist ideals. Our members: 1st Klan 550,000. 2nd Klan 3,000,000–6,000,000 (peaked in 1920–1925 period). 3rd Klan 5,000–6,000 This Presentation talks about the SECOND KKK.

KKK stands for Ku Klux Klan. The KKK is a white supremacy organization founded in 1915 Beliefs: 100% American Caucasian majority. Americans should be the guardians of society’s behavior/morals Pledge of secrecy to keep the symbols of the KKK secret and to not reveal it to the outside world.

1.Similarities and Enemies Similar to the German and Italian movements of the 1920’s because of the idealism of racial superiority, pride for race, and extreme nationalism Different from the KKK formed after the Civil war because 1920 Increase in enemy circle to include Jews, Japanese and European immigrants, French Canadians.

Atlanta, Georgia is the founding ground for the SECOND KKK. Founded this time by William J. Simmons In the 1920’s within the states of Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, the KKK included 80% or the largest membership in the U.S.

The KKK influenced culture through their idea of “Pure Americanism” This became a mainstream idea in the 1920’s and still reverberates through some of our more conservative cultures.

Numbers diminished in the mid late 1920’s due to a problem with a leader of the KKK from Illinois known as David Stephenson. Crime: murder of a woman. Due to this event the KKK’s beliefs to change (So during KKK camp lets try not to follow this example).

Tarring and Feathering (before bedtime) Flogging until morale improves (consequences and seminars) Lynching of enemies (camp activities) Burning crosses (during sing along) Uniforms include hooded ghost outfits (avoid ghost busters during wearing of uniform)

The members saw the Klan as a political movement. They change the growing cultural and political dominance of what they saw as immoral, or multiracial This was the cultural and political change that white Americans have had to face throughout the twentieth century.
