CULTURAL FOOTPRINT PT09 – Cultural Diversity and Cultural Exchange PORTUGAL Arts Council Portugal (DGArtes) Overview of the programmes in PA17, EEA Grants

The Programme “Cultural Footprint” aims at selecting and providing financial support to artistic and educational projects to be implemented and developed in each one of the five “NUT II” (Territorial Units) of Mainland Portugal: North, Centre, Lisbon and Tagus Valley, Alentejo and Algarve. There were 2 editions: 1st Edition: “Cultural Footprint – Arts and Education” Artistic and educational projects to encourage the benefit of artistic experiences by young students (from preschool, primary, secondary and technical education). 2nd Edition: “Cultural Footprint | Early Steps” (Small Grant Scheme) Aimed at stimulating offer and demand of artistic projects with an educational component, regarding mediation with the target audience, e.g., children aged 0 to 5 years. Supported activities

Fund for Bilateral Cooperation: The Fund for Bilateral Cooperation aimed at providing financial support to identify the appropriate partner entities in the Donor Sates, to develop a collaborative project and a joint working plan with a view to preparing and drafting the applications as well as the future development of the projects within the 1st Edition of Programme: “Cultural Footprint – Arts and Education”. Maximum support per entity: 3.000,00 € Specific selection criteria (in the area of arts)
